I've been looking for these shots lately, trying to learn them and just for fun.
I made one at the senior center a couple of days ago. We play 1/15 in the sides 8ball. We generally play doubles.
Opponent broke dry. Left considerable cluster. There was almost a path for the 1 to the side. It was blocked slightly by two balls , just barely a little more than a balls width apart.
Played the 1 soft very thinly off first blocker(5), it caromed off second blocker(that pocketed too(15)) and went in the proper side pocket.
I was kinda stoked. Then I lost from there.:embarrassed2:
Made one of each. Choice. Only had a shot at stripes. Made the 12. Now stripes. The 15 then spotted. Then I missed. They got to keep the 1 in the side since I made it for them.
Or something like that..so many losses that they all just blend together.
