I'm pretty curious about cue tips and wonder what is really suitable for me?
I've played only on layered tips before, like moori III and currently a kamui black. Played awhile with a talisman tip too.
Recently, I heard from my friend that single layered tips do play better on higher end cues so as to utilize the shaft better (and that if you used layered tips, you might actually be depending on the tip rather than the technology of the cue). Is that true?
I will really love to know the pros and cons of layered tips vs. single layered tips.
Also, it will be great to know what is the better single layer tips out there? Say, Elkmaster vs Le Pro vs Everest vs Sniper (this is single layered right?) vs. Triangle.
Thanks!
