I dont know where should i post this. Mods please shift if im posting on the wrong section, Sorry!

Recently i just remove my weight bolt from my cue and i think i like it better this way. But i wanna find out if playing without any weight bolt will spoil my cue over a long run?

Cheers,
JLiang

You have not hurt anything. You just made your cue lighter. It will be fine if you like it that way,

Good Cuemaking,

As long as it's not holding the butt cap on then it is no problem.

Sorry to interrupt, but please make sure it is not holding the butt cap on.

If it is delrin or something that does not glue well the butt cap may "stick" there for a while and fall off later if just the finish or a little glue is holding it on. I did this once and the butt cap stayed on but later that week while shooting it came off.

I'm not a cue maker....but I had an experience with this so I answered.

Other than that, as was said, you just lightened the cue.
