I agree with Fatboy on not being thrilled with flat rails of the Centennial. Pretty sporty otherwise plus the gee whiz factor should not be underestimated :D

I was exercising my google-jitsu looking for examples of Centennials and came across this :

Brunswick Alexandria circa 1912. Circassian Walnut with Black Holly and Pearl inlay :

It is in Oregon and they are asking $12K. No clue if that is good or bad but I bet they take less. Have Glen put the full treatment on it and that would be the nuts in your room. I would imagine you may even be able to steal it for cash in this economy. Just something to think about :D

Whatever you get count on me to help you break it in.

The aforementioned unamed friend & his whse

I can't believe it. This is a small world the warehouse that the Centennial was found in was also in Oregon. There is alot more where that came from. The most interesting Tables ever. All anniversary and centenials in his room.

I believe he sold the "Lions head" table for 18K. It was exquisite. He has much nicer tables I would almost bet on it. He works Thursday, Sat. and Sunday nights. 5:30 till close. Most days he is in and out. Friday he is in most of the day.

Eric,
If you talk to Mr. Lebold.....Jimmy. Make him look in all of his hiding spots just to be sure. I just missed a car he told me to bid on Friday.

there was a Alixerdria 12' I played on years ago, it was in real bad shape the last time i saw it in a different poolroom, i think they made alot of them,

thats the only issue with the Centennial is the flat high rails, if it was just a table to look at it wouldnt be a issue-thats why i'm on the fence, Since my poolroom isnt visable anywhere in my house i think I'm going to put a GC in it and the Centannial somewhere else-I love the looks but to play on day in and day out it get on my nerves-i'm interested in performance first, looks second.

The Gold Crown I's at Bill Shick's Pool Room in Shreveport, LA play finamallee well. I have never like the looks of them but I love the way the balls roll on them.
