Hi all,

I would like to get your help regarding gluing mitered veneers. I have been successful at cutting the veneers at 45 degrees using my tablesaw and a digital angle gauge. I got the idea from a post by rhncue (thank you Mr Neighbors). My problem is how to clamp the two mitered veneers together so that everything aligns perfectly. I have seen a lot of veneer cutting jigs here but I have not seen one jig that is used for gluing the veneers together perfectly. Perhaps it is a very simple jig but somehow I am unable to do this successfully. Can you guys help me out? Pics of the jigs you are using would be awesome.

Thanks,
Chris

you have to tape them together and just fold them up and glue them maybe a angle iron piece to hold in place we have a new blade and jig system that makes it easy to do the other day i cut and glued 40- 4 point sets together in 5 hours no mistakes id be glad to go over this with you ....lee

Thank you Lee. That's the same technique that Tony said in his pm. It's so simple that I am somewhat embarassed that I could not figure it out. :o I am glad that I asked here first before I set out to create some overly complicated jig for it. :p
