Please help

I am very new to the custom cue world with only 2 that I have had built. So I do not have the knowledge on bad experiences as many others on here do, nor the knowledge on the best way to deal with it. But i never have, and never will pay up front for a cue in any situation.
I will await anyone else's opinions and directions, as I am curious on how you need to proceed. Good luck to you, hope you get your cue!!
 
The fact that YOU have to initiate all contact with him speaks loudly. Contact your friend in Kansas and get that ball rolling. And out him for the benefit of the rest of us.
