The last owner thinks it was an old Adam. I tend to agree but I am not that knowledgeable and would like more opinions. I noticed in the "book" that Adam cues are well documented and I dont see this model listed. If it is an Adams is it a custom order or something?

The pin is 5/16" x 18.

I have no idea on the case but its quit neat and I dig the color. It even has the key.

Thanks in advance.

The sharp pin was definitely used by Adam, but the lack of a butt-cap is puzzling. I'm sure that Adam probably wasn't the only one that used that pin. Maybe an early custom Helmstetter? I've seen the case before also, but usually associated with Dufferin made Brunswick cues of the 70's. Sorry that I couldn't be of more help.

Adios,

Best guess is Adam

I'd have to agree that it is most likely a late 60's Adam... The pin, the pearl joint collar (blk,pearl,blk).. and the dbl-dots.
I'd say it's possibly a custom- it's very similar to a "Delta" but with an extra ring in the buttsleeve...
I don't think it's been modified.
Another guess would be National- from the 70's.

Nice old cue

This could be an eary Helmstetter, before he went to National and Adams. Lots of his trademark tell tales, pin, joint, butt etc. Nice one what ever it is. :)

During the late 1970's through the early 1980's the Rich Cue Company produced a few lines of cues that are very similar to what you have posted. I will include some photo's of a cue I have in my possesion.

Thanks everyone for the ideas.

That does help. It is similar to your Rich. BTW, very nice looking Rich!

I would love to know who made the case, I have the same one. The 2-brass latches say "Italy" on the back. I got the case with an old Meucci Original

The cue could be a National
