Please increase allowable photo uploads to 5 megabytes

Do a screenshot, copy and paste is one easy way.

For the iPhone there is already a sizing option for your photos that is easier than emailing.

I checked on my iOs 18 and I don’t find a way to resize right on my phone. Google didn’t suggest any way, either, except to install an app or edit and crop the borders.

Click the picture button, then click the drop space.

Choose the size you want. With large if you still get the Oops to big, just go back and select medium.

this forums area is a free website with minimal ads (not even close to FB), not sure if going to a 5 or 10 mb image size limit would drastically increase costs for the owner(s), which could (most likely would?) be passed down to the users as subscriptions...

Why are some worried about it when it works fine as is. As it stands you can import multiple large photos.
There is photo editing options that are standard on andriod, I've explained how on here before, Apple phones I'm sure have their own software standard also. I just did a simple search and found this about Apple. This should be something anyone is easily capable of doing.
This is a free site afterall.

It’s a pain in the ass to resize whether it’s from a computer or phone. The forum software should do it automatically and transparent to the user, just like FB does.

The limit, however, absolutely should not be increased. If each graphic or picture was 5MB in size, loading sites would be brutal.

this would be beneficial, yes, if it is possible. but it is a feature request, which takes time...
