He's a great cuemaker, and an awesome guy to deal with. I got some carbide sanding blanks from him a few years back. He makes a very nice cue for very reasonable money.

You really can't go wrong with any of the cuemakers on this forum. I'm not sure if Sheldon is on here - he used to be on RSB, until it became an idiot-fest. All the guys here make good cues - Varney, Madden, RHN, DZ, and whoever else I'm forgetting, all make great cues.

I have a Lebow cue.

I have had it for several years. Sheldon made it to my specifications (i.e. 60", 12.75 mm tip, etc.) with his suggestions and the cue is great, plays great, was done in a timely manner, didn't cost an arm and a leg, and if there was any question, Sheldon made sure it was right. Highly recommended.

Sheldons cues

I've had a Lebow for several years. It's a great cue. Looks stunnung and plays awesome. Sheldon has made several shafts for it over the years, 2 with Ivory ferrules being the latest.I've got alot of cues but I play with this one. Don:cool:

Excellent work

Sheldon does all the work on all of the cues I own and has since he first started out. He pays a lot of attention to detail and really goes out of his way to make everything as perfect as he can get it. From just putting a tip on or a leather stack wrap to making an intricate and very heavily inlayed cue. His cues play as good as any out there and he is a great guy to deal with. Definitely one of the best IMO.

In my opinion, Sheldon, unlike many Prima Donna cue makers, is a talented, cue maker who is both very innovative in his designs and execution of those designs. He approaches cue making and repair in a very common sense manner. On the forums, he is never blowing his own horn but when he makes a recommendation it is certainly worth listening to.

Although, not as well known as many of the top cue makers, he is among a group of very dedicated cue builders, who, in the future, I believe, will be well known. Kudos to Sheldon and Bob of DZ cues and people like them as they are the future of this industry. If I were looking for someone to build me a cue he certainly would be near the top of the list.
