Happened to me too. Look at the very bottom of the message list. Mine said new message but it was dated from 1969 with no subject and no way to click on it to read it.

Me too, but no message, and I can't delete it. When I click on the box at the far right the delete option is greyed out, inoperative or whatever you call it.
