Pocket Facings for Connelly Table

Where I live there are 9' Connelly tables. The pockets do not accept the ball properly and "rattle" often. If I recover the table, what pocket facings should I use and what thickness?

I think more than it being a problem with the facings its a problem with the miter on the sub-rails. The cushion is cut to match the sub-rail then the facings are glued to the cushions and sub-rail ends, the facing itself will not change the pocket miters.

Soft facing + soft cushions = rattle. You can order the Diamond 3/16ths 60 durometer facings and replace with those.
