Poison U.S. 9 Ball Tour Season Finales $4000 Added

Robert Harris

I would like to let everyone know I have worked a deal out with Custom Cue Maker Robert Harris, 1st and 2nd place finishers in these events will also receive a Harris Custom Cue valued at over $1000 which is another bonus.

These going to be great events.

I need a little more practice but I for one am looking forward to entering a few of Tony's amateur event's next year. I can say from experience that he bends over backwards to make sure his customers in his store are happy,
I would venture to say he put's the same effort into his Poison tour.

Is the amateur a one day event?

I am pretty sure Tony will run the main event Saturday and Final on Sunday.

Don't forget the Second Chance Event is Sunday.

Both one day events with the exception of the Main Event finals on Sunday (most likely).

If this tourny draws well, even with 22 tables I cant see how they can run it down to the finals in one day. If they do, well that will be one long day.

A good contingent of miami players are coming. I know of at least 5 that are coming and we are over 500 miles away from tally.

I cleared my Voicemail sorry sick kid at home.

The main event is a 2day, Going to try get it down to 32 players coming back sunday possibly 24. I think there are 50 or more players paid with entry's coming in fast. You must be signed up by 12.00 on the day.

There will probably be a player auction sunday. With a portion of proceeds going to charity.

Looks like its going to be a great event.

The event has over 60 players paid as of this morning with a bunch more entries today. I think we are going to be very close to a full field of 128 players. If you plan on showing up Saturday and paying your entry it may be to late.

Hats of to the amateur players. The only way pool in this country will ever move forward is if players pay there entry in advance and have some commitment to attended.

This is probably going to be one of the biggest amateur events ever and hopefully we can grow it.

Thanks to everyone who has supported me and the poison tour.

Hey Tony. I want to come but at this point I do not know how to get my entry to the room in time to ensure a spot. I'm 3 hours away and I would hate to drive all the way out there and get shut out. Recommendations?

By the way, I can't stand people complaining about tournaments taking a cut. Do you expect people to donate their own time to run a tournament? If so, get a life. TDs work their butts off for several days in a row putting up with all of us whiny pool players sacrificing time away from their kids and family. Tony does an amazing job and should be commended for running a great tour and giving the opportunity for amateur and professional pool players to compete!

up to 60 prepaid and signed up. this doesn't include the 20 locals playing either so I think we have a good chance of filling up come Sunday. I'm excited, balls are polished and the tables are vacuumed and ready to go

Here's the tournament board as it stands now.
