Rare poster in this section, but I'd like to hear folk's input on whether they have experienced pressure from local governments/ councils/ police with respect to their (poolhall) business operations?
I have linked an account of a local- now ex- proprietor who faced extreme pressures, got the ACLU involved and ended up closing shop. He was a decent man, not a pool player, surely...but not a criminal in my experience.
