Graphite = Glove

Were i shoot with a graphite stick i use a glove i voted none because mine says SPIDER on it and that wasnt an option im new so i dont know what glove is the best but i like mine its ok

I picked the Nick Varner glove, as a lefty I find it hard to find a good fitting glove and as well as this glove fitting well it also has the exposed fingertips for better feel of the cloth and a non slip patch. Cracking buy.

i use a laperti glove, which is old and naff now, but better than no glove.

however i had a sir joseph one before and they are the best i think, gonna get me another one.

Glove

I chose the Sir Joseph regular because that is what I use.

Were the Slix glove still available, that would have been my choice. However, it's not and even when it was, it was expensive and wore out quicker than the SJ.

It's an acquired taste.

Adios,

Pizza Bob

I was using a Felice glove, one that just had elastic around the wrist. It was ok, but it grimed up pretty quick, and also the manufacturing was kinda shoddy - the seam along the middle finger started unraveling pretty quick.

I picked up a Sir Joseph glove a couple of weeks ago (thanks for the recommendation from fellow AZBers) and so far, I love it. It's the velcro one, not the hook one. AND I got it for cheaper than that crappy Felice POS :)

Mine doesn't have the cut-off fingers, but since I started using a glove, I haven't missed that tactile feeling of finger-on-cloth anyhow. Hasn't bothered me in the least bit. And I'm 5-for-5 in league this session so far, sooooo... :)

If any of the posters that are still viewing this thread, would you mind looking inside of your particular brand of glove (Sir Joseph or Pro Series) there is a label inside which says the particular percentages of nylon and spandex that each is made. Please post the percentages for that particular glove.
Thanks,
JoeyA

Joey, I don't know what brand of glove Jim has, but my Sir Joseph glove is also an 84/16 ratio. I saw this poll and ordered a couple, size large. I was using the cheap brand I get at Academy Sports and Outdoors store. I don't remember what brand they are (not the Minnesota Fats glove), but they have what seems like the same ration of nylon/spandex as the Sir Joseph. The cheapos from Academy are only $3.76 + tax each. They also work well, but the only problem I have with them is that they are one-size-fits-all and the size varies from glove to glove. Some just won't stretch over my hand (my wife uses these). The Sir Joseph gloves are fine too, but for the price I may just go back to Academy if'n I need more gloves in the future. Hope this helps.

Thanks "man".
I guess I am trying to decide which is the BEST LIKED combination of materials. Some of the NYLON/SPANDEX materials are 85/15, 84/16, 86/14 and one other that I don't remember.

I think that the glove brands have continued to change the percentages of material over the years and am wonderings which is the latest and best choice and why.

My Pro Series glove is a 84/16 and I have used both the XL and the Lg Black. Some of the thread unravels on some of the gloves, making them useless after a few months of hard use.
Thanks,

JoeyA

For years it was the Sir Joseph hook & loop. But, over the last 6 months I've gone to the Felice. It fits very snug fit for my hand and performs great, although I wish they lasted a little longer, but I don't go through them as quick as the regular Sir Joseph's.

BC,
What does the label on the inside of the Felice say about percentages of nylon and spandex?
thanks,
