Why do people always bring up free speech and their rights being stifled when they have stepped into the very hole that they themselves dig. Speech aint free from Responsibility. You dont go into a movie theater and yell out "Fire" because you want to spice up things. You dont go into a pool forum with some experienced players and say I am a great player ask me anything you want. Not without repercussions. You dont go into a group where there are not only whites but blacks and other people of color and say something stupid like there are no Black Professional Pool Players when you yourself is not a known pro. Without someone banging you over the head with words.

No one is picking on POOR BERNIE. He asked for it himself. This is a group. You go into any group and you start behaving badly or unthinkingly insult people you will get smacked. I know because I have and you have. We learn from this. I have made an ass of myself at parties and asked to leave. Happily this childish behavior happened when I was a child and I hope will never happen again. Do you remember when Reggie Jackson said "I am the straw that stirs the drink". This did not go well with his fellow Yankees and certainly didnt with baseball fans. It was immature and insensitive. And Bernie you are no Reggie. Not many of us are.

I am not for this poll at all. I think polls are necesarry for the evil and destructive. I dont think Bernie is. I dont think he should be forced out but I do think he needs to grow up. I dont think I am alone on this.
 
I'm not one of those who thinks you should be banned but you should be much more considerate of others than you have been so far. You should cut out the foul language because this is a public forum which means that anyone at any age could be on here. I think you should stop starting umpteen stupid threads on this board just because you are "bored".

Well, I had him filtered for a while. If I saw it I would have probably just skipped over it. In any case, I agree it is not approprate. What more do you want form me?

Well said, Rickw. He just needs to tone down the "blue light special" threads, you know? Those diarrhea of the fingers type threads, enough of those. Let's start to see some real substance instead. That would be better, I think I speak for many others when I say that I would like that.

This is not to say anything about your poll subject, but I find it quit easy to just skip any threads and posters I choose.
 
now i know how bob grant feels. for those of you not familiar with bob grant, he was a radio host on new york radio. a real republican. he had extremly STRONG views of how the world should think and be. he would get upset with his callers after a while and start calling them schmucks, and to get off his phone, then he would hang up hard SLAM! the president of the station would call him in and say, i'm sorry bob, were gonna have to fire you. after he was fired for 2 months or so, the overwhelming demand, to put him back on the air, was overwhelming. the mangment had no choice then to put him back, because the radio station was losing most of it's listeners. turns out 80% of the listeners, tuned out! well, they would put him back every two months, and when he was rehired he would start off sweet and kind, within two months, back to his screaming, get off my phone you jerk. and once again the firing and hiring would go on and on and on. anyhow, even though i dissagreed with all of bob grants views, i know how he feels.
 
I think banning is a drastic measure and he should be given another chance but if he continues to ignore the multitude of requests to chill out, maybe then it would be appropriate.

Hey Silencer, what number of threads a day could you live with? Maybe we could all compromise and you get to stay (and try to get the attention you so obviously, desperately need), and the rest of us can continue on with the other threads you think are not as important as Souqet and your underwear and the rest of your brilliant threads. I'm sure you know that there is the RSB and CCB forums, but on those you wouldn't so easily take up half the posts per page and that might be discouraging.
