Hello AZ Billiards Community. My name is Steve Markle and I am on the trick shot tour. Along with competing I also perform trick shot shows. Trick shots are universal and can be enjoyed by even non pool players so I have taken part in some really cool opportunities in my career including two commercials. I really never know why type of offer/event is going to come my way.

I am at the point where I have began my search for an agent to represent me and I would prefer that person be within the pool industry. For my entire career I have done this myself. I am looking for a person knowledgeable with the game and has both marketing and negotiation skills. A person who is motivated and can make unique opportunities happen.

I promote myself as a trick shot entertainer for all of the following (but not limited to) corporate events, private parties, brand representation, advertisement, film, commercials, consulting, grand openings, and trade shows.

If you or you know somebody that would be interested in this position please contact me at MarkleTrickShots@gmail.com to further discuss what I am willing to offer.

Thank you everyone,

Steve Markle

I've often wondered why professional pool players don't have agents. Do any exist? I know there are road "managers", but what about actual sport agents for pool players? Someone ought to jump on that!

Good luck to you...

For those who may not know, Steve Markle has participated in a variety of TV commercials. In fact, I remember way back when on the "Ellen" show when there was a contest reduced to five asking for votes to be on the "Ellen" show, and we here at AzBilliards went on a rampage to vote, vote, vote for one of our own.

Here's an older Lincoln commercial which was condensed for TV eventually:

But where does the money come from?

I can only imagine a few current players that MIGHT consider paying an agent to be of acceptable value.

Most big sports agents get between 4-10%. Pool players, or trick shot'rs, couldn't pay that much and make ends meet imo.

daryl peach got one when he won the world championship. the guy was a bonafide idiot, demanding show up money for daryl to enter tournaments (lol) and other things. i remember archer and buddy talking about it at the time, how out of touch the whole thing was. peach was a good player but it's not like he would draw a big crowd

i think in recent times mohammed soufi had some sort of agent. he also got screwed
