Hello, is there some new rules regarding uploading matches on youtube, I ask this because in the past years or so, the way I search is usually by upload dates, where I type my favorite player name, then press on Upload Date, to see the recent uploaded matches of that particular player, and then I find few matches for that player to watch maybe one match or two. I usually do this once a week, and everytime I find new match for that player to watch, "New as in uploaded newly, and something that I haven't watched" Not neccesiraly new as in, happened recently, it could be a match from 2008 where I haven't watched but it was recently uploaded to youtube.

However I'm making this post because something is weird happening to me on youtube, now adays I been looking for "Shane van boening" in the search, or "Mike Dechaine" and their recently uploaded match (Last match uploaded from the upload date) Is the same, haven't changed in months, maybe you can see a new Playlist or something, but as for new match that I haven't watched, nothing is being uploaded on youtube at all.

Any new rules or regulation for pool matches in that site? So then I can look somewhere else maybe Vimeo or whatever, because I really can't find a decent, newly uploaded, matches for these players. It's either there isn't anything to upload and nobody is playing pool, or nobody is uploading anything to youtube for some reason, I don't know whats wrong, but in the past everytime I find a new thing to watch, now i can't find anything.

I remember a post here on AZB, someone created a thread that nobody should post on youtube, so that nobody watches pool for free, I really disagreed with that thread because it's nonsense, they want money in pool, having pool matches as a watchable with a Fee is not the solution to bring money in pool, it's the truth, you can watch anything on youtube and for free, and those sports makes billions more than pool even though they are watchable free on youtube, having pool videos cut out from youtube is not the solution for pool industry, it's the truth.

I have better results by subscribing to the channels that post all pool related stuff.
For example, I am subscribed to genipool14, who is one of the best providers in current pool content. So I just browse the playlists/videos there for great matches from around the world (euro tour, China tournaments, etc).

It's been a while since I searched using names.

I just browse the channels and go to what's interesting.

Lots of great content on the snooker channels as well.

And to answer your question, I haven't noticed anything different. Pool videos are getting better in quality and content.

Thanks for that link!

I've noticed the same thing. I don't know the reason either

So, I've never heard of genipool14. Google/YouTube/The Company do strange things with your search results, depending who you are. I get much different results depending whose computer I'm using. It almost feels like they're trying to keep me in my own little internet cube and won't let me out.

Pool

I've been watching the filipinos on there and they seem to have new ones posting...

I'm wondering if it is just because Shane hasn't played much lately in the U.S.

Also, if he has played, it handled by one of the streamers that may not put their matches on youtube.

I for one absolutely will not watch any free pool on the interweb. I only watch PPV and then only the PPV where the players are collecting royalties on the videos!!!! :yeah:

There are a lot of European events it seems that are broadcasted for free on youtube.

Orange Fork Productions is pretty good,

This is a swedish channel, they have some events upcoming

This Channel has a lot chinese 8 ball

The Mezz West State tour has a lot of great content

But a lot of North American events seem to be behind a pay wall, so that content will not be uploaded to YouTube, at least not legally.
