Yes he says there are 100 sets or more of these. Said there were also some Stars and Stripes colors set, or different colors on the balls. Said he got 1400 cases of them so pby the remaining stock from the company. Cking to see what else he has.

I prefer the Cyclop and Dynashpheres because I like the look and they stay cleaner longer.

I have noticed the Hyperions are very hard to find! Does anyone have a set they would part with? Thanks for your time
Thought I could post this here for some expert opinions. Hope that’s OK. Can anybody give some insight on these balls? I picked them up recently and I’m curious as to their age and any other aspect of them. Thanks in advance!

Not sure why they don't look white to me.
Assume this is an open box means he may have more than one set.

I have the same set except mine have the measles style cue balls. I think they supposedly the most accurate, weight wise, balls you could buy at the time.Log into Facebook

They are kind of an off white color even when brand new from the factory. I honestly love this set, the octagons are a really nice touch. The money balls are pretty fun for a change and it's nice they include 2 cue balls. I really like how those cue balls play.Log into Facebook

I have a few of these types of sets. You can find them marketed under several names. Hi-Skore, Orange, American and a few more. I have done as much research as I am capable of. I have no idea of the material they are made from. I believe they were made by a company in Florida. But no proof. I think they were made in the 1960's. Best I can do. Hope someone can add or subtract from this.
Just one more observation on these sets. I have 6 different sets. None in the bad shape of yours, but some that have minor damage. The sets that have minor damage were either missing their cue balls of had been replaced with a Polly or phenolic cue ball. I think the weight difference and hardness of the replacement cue balls caused most of the damage to these types of sets. Original cue balls for these sets are very hard to find and most are in really bad shape.

Hello. I'm new to the site. This is a very informative forum and the genuine friendships and generosity between contributors is wonderful. The reason I'm here is that I recently got a set of 2 1/16" clay agate balls. Pictured below.The golden era of pocket billiards kicking off the start of the 20th century saw manufactures trying to capitalize on the popularity and tremendous growth of the pool craze across North America - and as a result, many interesting ball set designs were made available to proprietors with hopes of grabbing yet another fan!
The 2 1/8” clay Brunswick Speckled Agate balls were one such offering.
These came to me by way of a tag-along to a more valuable boxed set since the owner wanted things fast and easy. No original cue ball or box, but they prove to be in fine original condition and from what I can see, never cleaned or restored. That will follow under my care soon.
For now, a set to have in the PBC thread for all to see - and perhaps others can share their clay Agate sets.
