Pool Ball Collecting.

Has anyone seen a set of these up close and have any further information? Presumably not manufactured by Dynaspheres...

They seem to be a Chinese market set, judging by the Chinese language written on the package security sticker. It's the red and white one with diagonal black lines and Chinese characters in the second picture with only the closed box.

If it's a Chinese market set, they could be anything. It's common for manufacturers here to use the branding of a famous company and then make their own design for anything. If you haven't seen them anywhere else and you've contacted Rasson Billiards already and no answer, then that's possible.

As far as the design, to me they look like Brunswick Centennials without the darts. I think it's kind of a classic design, looks good.

You should see if they're real though. If you don't care of they're "real", then you can hunt the platforms like Alibaba and see if you can stumble across them.

Could be made by Vigma.

A recent acquisition of a printer block I am told was used for an A. E. Schmidt catalog. The image has been reversed and tweaked quite a bit.
I have been unable to find anything on IVORET or GOLD DOT cue balls. If anyone happens to have any information on either, I would love if you could share it. Thank you

Absolutely wonderful acquisitions to display alongside your fabulous pool ball collection, Mr L.

Thank you so much for sharing that photograph, dear fellow. Those blocks are fascinating artefacts of billiard history. Look at the superb craftsmanship!

I never knew numbered snooker balls were a thing. Pretty much everyone that plays snooker knows how many points each colour is worth so no real need for numbers on the balls

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen.

Two sets of Raschig R15s were listed on eBay yesterday… one example in the red Dekorit box and another in the earlier blue box.

I was asked to give an opinion on price and condition elsewhere and expressed my view that some of the balls in the blue box are not correct. I could be wrong, of course, but just wanted to share my thoughts.

Let's compare which numbers you think are wrong. I'll start for sure with 3, 8, and 13. Maybe 2, 12, and 9 also.
Adding that if anyone is looking for a more affordable decent set to play with (w/o original cue ball and box), let me know.
