Pool Ball Identification Help

I believe these are both Centennials, but the color and design on the lower set has me a bit confused, perhaps an older version?

Any ideas?

Brunswick does not make balls.....I doubt that they ever did.

Centenials have been made by Hyatt, Super Chrystalate, and Arimith....and maybe more.
So the different colors are the result of different companies...
......and how they age

I was just hoping someone could pin down an era manufacturer/confirm that they are both Centennials.

Actually I thought the same thing due to the coloration. The red on the three is much deeper than the other set too. Logic would have it that the older set would be more faded though- at least thats what I was thinking.

No, it's not a TV 4- ball ....the TV 4 is VERY pink

I've had 6s 4s and 2s that really varied from light to dark.

The upper set are modern Centennials. The lower set looks like a 60's version. (Notice the modern has a curved line on the six too).

Here's a catalog from 1961 showing the straight line on the six and the less pronounced darts:

Your 2nd set is probably a late 1960's or 1970's version.

Very cool page from the catalog. Thanks for posting that. With the font change I'd guess 70s or 80s then - the ones in that catalog page have a much finer font
