After seeing Bill Porter's cool photos from 1986, I really think it would be nice to have a Pool Picture thread with all things Pool & Billiards related, from tournaments, players to the more obscure pool related photos of pool halls, even current pool halls.

I'm sure if we keep this going we may find some really nice obscure photos of the past. I never took any photos and now I wish I had since many great pool halls are now gone:( and some players have very few pictures from the past. anyway I just like photos of history and like comparing images now and then.

The good thing is, today lots of photos are being taken and shared.

If you find any or have some, post them up, include as much info about the date time and names as you can. you can use imageshack or some other online photo host, just be sure if it's not yours, post the credit and the link to the original, or just a thumbnail with with a link in some cases.

Scruggs Pool Hall in the town of Gas Kansas, 1912? Gas was big enough to support three pool halls while the smelters, brick plants and cement plant were operating. original link: http://www.ku.edu/~hersite/kcn-8/iola/gaspic.html

Anyway, a few more.

May 1910, St. Louis, Missouri.
These boys were playing pool and smoking in the pool room while waiting for papers . The smallest boy is 9 years old and sells until 9 P.M.
A lot kids didn't have it so easy, I guess the smoking helps with the stress.
