I'm stunned!!! Tony, to whom most Rochester players know better as "The Mouth of the South", was a friend, team mate and competitor. Years ago we played on a regular basis. Tony was feared as a bar box player and respected on the big tables. He used to ride me to no end that I had to give him the eight. Like he really needed it. Once he moved down South, we kind of lost touch. Would see him at Super Billiards Expo and no where else.
This Summer while in Vegas, Tony called and asked us to send him a ticket so he could visit. He never changed through all the years I knew him. I'll miss the "hey Lenny, gimme tweny dollar". Those of us who knew him knew he really meant just give him the money, it's not a loan. I'm very sad. Condolences to his family.
