I thought it'd be interesting to start a thread about inlays, or even veneers. Both can be important elements in some cue designs and do you have any favorite ones?
The Cue Gallery might be a more appropriate section for this topic but frankly, I felt this topic would have a broader appeal to Azers in general. Ergo, I posted it here.
It is not without purpose that I compose this thread since I was apprised by my cue-maker I can have anything I want. The veneers on my cue are completed and
so while I'd enjoy reading posts about veneers and seeing great photos of yours, the inlay question has added interest. How Come? Well, I am still undecided about
the design and after your cue-maker tells you can have "any" inlay design you want, deciding which to use becomes more complicated than before.
From my perspective, when it comes to pool cue designs, imitation seems to truly be the most sincere form of flattery. I am a traditionalist when it comes to pool cue designs
but I have to confess that some of the inlay designs I've seen from other cue-makers has been absolutely amazing. Although there is still ample time to decide the style inlay
to use for my cue underway, I thought it'd be interesting to see what other Azers admire in inlay styles..
Thanks for reading & including any cue photos.
