IDK. Odd - don’t recall that cue maker signature- could not have been very prolific - yet labeling a cue as 1/1. All the inlays appear to line up very nicely with consistency. Obviously Palmer inspired, so post 1980 cue after their third catalog. The notched diamonds are not Asian style - more from an American maker, IMO.
Could this be a very early cue from a cue maker named Mike who later became much more famous and prolific and changed their signature? Quite a mystery to me.

Interesting cue! Definitely seems to have a Palmer or Viking influence with those clean inlays and classic design. The "1/1" marking suggests it might have been a custom or prototype from an up-and-coming maker.

If it’s post-1980, as mikemosconi suggested, it could be from a lesser-known cue maker experimenting early in their career. Maybe someone in the forum with a deep knowledge of vintage cues can recognize the specific details.

Would love to hear more thoughts—this one’s definitely a mystery worth solving!

looks like maybe a sigel cue that could be one of his first ones.

and looks similar to his signature as well. that counts for a lot in a guess.

but unlike anything he made for sale.

not many others made any cues with lots of fluff back then.

Add more confusion,,, maybe the cue was made for a Mike but not by a Mike or maybe it was made for a Mike by a Mike. We could all start asking all the Mikes we know!

Sigel is cool. What I like about him is he always tells his stories the same. He doesn’t revise anything. He’s consistent.

On a side note one thing he said is absolutly brilliant.

And that’s the truth love him or hate him. He was the best closer and front runner in history.
