I'm wondering if anyone remembers the pool room in Vallejo, California. I was in the Navy in electronics school there and used to go there almost every night and play 9 ball for $$. Come to find out, my Dad's cousin owned it!! Amazing to me. I had only played snooker as a kid in NM and pool was a dream.

I played in a few rooms there. Billy Teeter owned 2 of them and one other I think he eventually bought. This was in the late 80’s early 90’s. $2 Bob was a strong player who was friends with Billy for a long time(rip $2 bob). Good memories

Must have bought it from Whitaker. I played in one in the middle 60's. A long time ago.....

I’ll make a phone call and see what I can find out for you. Hopefully something

You did get around Eric. I gambled with Billy at my room in Bakersfield, in his bar in Ventura and finally at his poolroom in Vallejo. He also made some pretty nice sneaky pete cues.

I have 2 of his super early cues. I used to go to his house on Tennessee st when he first started out. Crashed on his couch more times than I can count. Billy could play too! He used to come to Sacramento when there were big tourneys to great American with $2 Bob before they had their falling out.

I been around a little, for being young as I am. Was in 86-87 at Billy’s house he was still married. His ex wife name on the tip of my toung Jan? Maybe. Ugh I can’t remember

In the 60's, I used to gamble a little with "Calvin" in his room in Vallejo. Pretty sure it was the only room in town.

His name was Lawrence Whitaker and owned a pool hall in Vallejo, Calif. I was in the Navy there and used to play pool in his pool hall in 1965.

Do I need to lose weight?
