Pool Halls in Colorado

Making a trip to Colorado here in the near future, and curious to what pool halls are out there? I will be around Aurora and Denver. Thanks!

there's Mile High Billiards in Arvada:

http://www.milehighbilliards.com/

it's only a few months old, good atmosphere, has 12 7' Diamond tables and 4 or 5 9' Diamonds. Great drink selection, the staff is pretty on top of things I play there in their Tuesday leagues and have played a couple of weekend tournaments and have virtually no complaints. My only gripe, and it's pretty minor is that they also run poker tournaments, and the poker crowd is a lot different from the pool crowd, but they tend to put the poker tables in back, out of the way of most of the pool tables.

And of course there's Felt:

http://www.feltbar.com/

if you're looking for a good dinner, drinks and pool, there's Wynkoop

http://www.wynkoop.com/

The Wreck Room has all 7' Diamond tables

Good choices
I don't know if Rackem in Aurora has it together or not, and Greenfields in Lakewood has new 7' Diamonds.
There's always Hanks, I played there last night><

When I was living in CO for the last year, I would go to Rackem all the time.

They recently got new owners, and refelted all the tables, and made some other big changes. There's better places to go, but it's a good spot now.

Hanks in Wheatridge is a must see. This place has been a pool room since the '60s (?) and it looks it. Shabby, dirty, run down. I like it. Gold Crowns, bar tables, snooker tables and a Billiard table. A resident homeless guy named Chuck who is a very good player and the usual assortment of characters.
And water is still $1.00 a bottle

ABM in Colorado Springs

I think its worth the drive to colorado springs to see the Antique Billiard Museum pool room. Approx 40/50 tables with 100 year old antique brunswick tables with Tour Blue simonis right next to Diamond tables.

Worth the drive in my opinion

Trantula's and Zanzabar downtown is alright to relax and shoot some pool. Not tons of action. I haven't been to the area in several years, but my buddy lives out that way still.

Thanks for all the great responses. I might check out Rackem if it's still open. Where are the action spots out of the places listed. Just curious :)

It's also worth noting if you get up north a bit, Match-Ups in Fort Collins is a great room with good action too. In Denver, i'd say go to Felt or MileHigh. You can get lots of action at Felt. Plus, you are less likely to witness a shooting at the three aforementioned rooms.

Jim Barber still have Antique? I was at FT. Carson for 5 years and knew him very well. Great guy. I always thought his Philippine wife would kill him one day. Gonna make a trip there early summer and visit. Lots of old friends there.

Yeah Jim still owns it. He doesn't play at all anymore. He's good to his regulars and has nice tables. The balls, on the other hand, are filthy and have usually 4 different brands of balls per rack. His wife tends bar there during day shift and it's pretty rare to see Jim there after 3pm.

cant think of the name

I think its called Q's or something its an asian pool hall, I think korean, they have like 4-5 billiards tables and then like 4 9' fts.

Is this place still open?

and if so where is it?

It's in Aurora, behind the Aurora Summit steakhouse
Off of Havana, not far from Rackem
