Pool Halls in Houston area

Heading to Houston next week for work, haven't been there in quite a while. Will be staying near the George Bush airport.

Suggestions on good places to play? Don't mind driving a bit if I have to. Really just looking for a nice place with good quality 9' tables to practice. Also, if there are any fellow AZ'ers who would like to meet up and play, that would be great as well. I should be able to make myself free most nights during the week.

I think it was slick willies I used to play at when I was down there. It was an average place but had acceptable 9' brunswicks, most places down there where all coin boxes. they had a good poker game too if your in to that join in.

It is THE place to play on the north side of Houston. It's fairly close to the airport too.
8 footers, 9 footers, a 12 foot snooker table, and probably all the action you want.
 
Thanks for the suggestions, I'll check them out and see who is closer, if there are any specials or tourneys, etc.

Any local AZ'ers want to get together to play some? Would be nice to meet fellow forum members...

Well, didn't see any Houstonites respond, but I will most likely be heading to Bogie's on FM1960 tonight around 7 or 8 and plan to be there for a while to practice. If anyone can make it, let me know and I'll keep my eyes out for you...

i am from houston but am allways away working!!!! bogies is the best and closest!!! you might be able to play Kim White if she is in town!!! she plays a little bit??? if you head down to galveston on 45 south in league city legends is a good place to play, lots and lots of action!!!!! ZZ Brock
