I read that too and thought what the heck? LOL The guy has to be a player or hang out with one alot.He just knows to much about pool and how to hustle to not be,imo.

He is a little confused though as I have never played Scooter,haha.

I think it's very cool and neat that he's kindly explaning how to hustle pool to all those folks that don't play or know alot about pool.He's doing a fine job of filling them in,I think.It's funny to me that alot of non pool player people are very interested in that kind of stuff.He writes good too.John B.

I've been reading through this thread for the past few days and I just got through all 14 pages so far. The OP, jase1, has some absolute gems for stories. Just thought I'd share because some of you might get a kick out of it too.

Thanks for posting the link to some stories.
Funny thing is in the guys first post he talks about traveling to Vegas and winning the APA team tournament.
Then he goes on to say you don't make much after the eight way split and the traveling expenses.
However when you win your way to Vegas to play, the travel expenses are paid.

Well they don't pay for the food, drinks, tips, and gambling. For some folks that can add up reeeeaaal quick.

Yes you are right they can. The reason I didn't mention food, drinks,
tips, and gambling is because he didn't.

The point I was making was toward credibility, he said his team went to Vegas and won the APA team event twice. He said you don't really make much after the 8 way split and travel expenses. There are no travel expenses the flight and room are paid for, that was the point. He would know that if he went to Vegas, or was even in the APA.

Actually, he doesn't. Something Awful forums are renowned for their auto-filter system:

DeadStick, I don't doubt what you are saying about the Something Awful forums and their auto-filter system at all, however I find it somewhat amusing and ironic that when a post is edited, they put "jase1 fvcked around with this message at Mar 30, 2012 around 19:55".
