I just watched a one hour documentary on "Origami" on "Independent Lens" a PBS show. It was fascinating, the hour went by in a flash. This was a very well made documentary. I could not help thinking while watching, why isn't there an independent film maker interested in making such a film about pool and cue making. Visiting and interviewing cue makers would fill hours alone. Not the ego BS "Look at all my inlays" but something about the kind of person who choses such an art as a profession and how they approach their work.
I don't know, I just wish someone would do it, just once minus all the BS and egos that surrounds the sport, an honest picture of the game.
