Pool in St. Louis???

Just wondering if you are still in St. Louis. We've seen reports from all over.

I'll be visiting the Billiard's Bullpen the weekend after 4th of July for 3 days (7-7, 7-8, & 7-9); arriving Friday afternoon/evening. I believe zeeder is coming over from Columbia to visit on Friday and Saturday. Perhaps we'll see you there. Hope you remember how to play straight pool.

Mr. Williebetmore...I am sorry to tell you that I am no longer in the St. Louis area. I am in Atlanta, GA. I will however be in Peoria, IL for the WPBA tournament. Hopefully you will be attending as well. Since I am going to miss our yearly straight pool date in St. Louis, I would be more than happy to make time to do it in Peoria. The CueSport College in Peoria has all new Diamond tables. I think that would be a good place.

Take it easy on Zeeder...

Good choice

Billiard Bullpen is a great place to play in St Louis. Mark Wilson makes everyone feel at home. It is actually the ONLY place outside of my own pool room I enjoy playing. Have a great time at Marks when you come to visit Williebetmore! Say hello to Mark and Cathy for me!
 
cueandcushion, you are exactly right, Mark and Kathy can make anyone feel at home at the Billiard Bullpen. It is a great place.

Dea..Run away it can only mean trouble with those guys coming to town. Just kidding.

You guys have to let me know who wins the battle so I can possibly see a rematch in Peoria...or maybe even take on the winner.

Yay! Peoria! Can I watch? I'll be there and all (: I can hold the kleenex for them to dry their eyes when they lose to Sarah, a.k.a..... "SARAH" Rousey! Haha.

Oh yes, your travel plans are quite appropriate. You should get far away from St. Louis, and head to another state. Perhaps Collinsville, Illinois would be a peaceful destination that would fulfill your criteria.

There won't be much woofing and sharking (well, unless zeeder jumps out to a big lead again...man, you've got to do something to slow the big guy down; besides I think he LIKES being sharked, sort of a test of manhood...and he didn't complain or beat me up).

I thought that might be the case, best of luck in your new home.

I have long ago made my reservations to attend the Peoria tournament (haven't missed one yet). I will definitely bring my tools, just in case a re-match is possible. I'm halfway hoping it will not be possible with your busy schedule on the way to your first finals appearance; but if you do find that you have the time I would love a game of straight pool.

P.S. - I must respectfully REFUSE your request to take it easy on Z-man. After he opened up a big lead last year I had to shark him unmercifully just to eke out a victory - I surely don't want a repeat of that debacle.

It's a good thing I read this thread as it made me realize that I've not reserved a room yet for Peoria. I'll get there Thursday, hopefully, before the evening session starts. I'll be bringing some cues so I don't have to borrow Willie's break cue again...lol.

I can't wait to play Willie at the Bullpen. I am hoping to get lucky and at least be somewhat competitive...lol.
 
Williebetmore- Glad to hear that you're coming back in town! We have a Gateway Amateur 9-Ball Tour Stop the 8th of July in St. Peters, MO at Teachers Billiards!
I'll try to stop over Friday evening and say hello!
