Since I'll be spending my vacation in Boulder, 'Colorady' from 7. to 14. Feb., I's gonna ask you guys, if you know some good pool places there!
I'd be especially keen to play in a local tournament to shoot pool and have some fun with some genuine american pool nuts :D !

It'd be great if you guys could give me some advice! Thanks in advance!

I don't get down there much but it seems to me that there was a thread started awhile back and they were asking about Boulder. The replies were mostly aimed towards the Denver area. There are many places to play on the front range, and this paper might help. http://www.cuetimes.com/ There are a few members that are more qualified then myself to give advice and they will hopefully chime in. Click on the small front page and it opens up the different pages.

Rack Em and Table Steaks for sure.

Have fun!

Table Steaks South (due south of downtown Denver about 10-15 min) had some regular weekly tournaments.

At Paradise (apparently changed hands and renamed since I moved away a bit over a year ago - west of downtown about 10-15 min as well) there was a regular great Thursday tournament. Dunno if that's still going or not.

Table Steaks South has tournaments on Sunday and Wednesday...one is 9ball and one is 8ball, both on the big tables. First Sunday of the month is a One-hole tournament instead of the 9-ball (this might have changed so call to make sure).

The Thursday night shootout that was at Paradise aka Family Fun Center, has moved to the Colorado Cue Club.

Table Steaks South 101 Floyd St. in Englewood (303) 789-0651 has a Sunday 9-ball tournament at 1:30pm.

Hanks aka Paradise aka Family Fun Center http://www.cuetimes.com/Newspaper/01-2009/Page_14.htm has a Monday night 9-ball tournament that starts around 9pm.

Colorado Cue club has a Thursday 9-ball tournament http://www.cuetimes.com/Newspaper/01-2009/Page_16.htm

All of these tournaments are on the big table. If you check out the "Tournament Trail" you will notice that Denver also has a LOAD of bar box tournaments. Also in the back of the paper are listed places to play that are by city.

Thanks!

Thanks a lot, everybody! Your help is greatly appreciated! I'll check those places out and hopefully I can join the tournies! Sure would be a lot of fun!

This a very good post and just about sums it up.
There are several great places that only have bar box tables like Greenfield's in Lakewood, but I like Table Steaks (the only one left is South in Englewood) and the Colorado Cue Club.
From Boulder the CCC is a relatively short drive.
