For a couple of racks of the final at the BCA Open, a final which Ewa came just one match from reaching, I sat with Ewa. I've known her for over twenty years and we reminisced a little. I asked her what it had felt like to appear in the TV round of the BCA Open as a BCA Hall of Famer, and I could sense I had stirred some very strong emotions in her. What a joyride it has truly been for Ewa, a lovely lady, a great player, and an enduring ambassador for pool.

She is always a classy lady. I hope the other members of the WPBA appreciate the trail she helped blaze for them and model themselves after her example. Many of them seem to do so.
