That's how you paid -- by the rack -- when that was the wayI was in a pool hall decades ago where they had a rack boy. When you needed the balls racked you tapped your cue, mostly house cues back then, on the floor and the rack boy ran over and racked them. I didn’t like it, had to wait sometimes but if you tried to rack your own they were offended
Thats already been done. Used to see a lot of cues with those. Don't know why they aren't common today. https://forums.azbilliards.com/threads/built-in-cue-extension.405891/I see them incorporating an extension into the butt of the cue either at the joint or butt cap. Give it a twist to unlock it, slide it out to desired length and twist to lock it
Cool idea!!!I see them incorporating an extension into the butt of the cue either at the joint or butt cap. Give it a twist to unlock it, slide it out to desired length and twist to lock it
Jacoby used to make them. Might contact Brandon to see if they still do.Cool idea!!!
I prefer gear whore, thank you.mama mia pizzeria back at you. none of this tech shit is gonna make ANYONE play better. Some people are just gadget freaks.
If something actually improves your play that's one thing. Problem is so much of what is tossed out at the pool playing public is nothing but tech for tech's sake. Ever sat and wondered, for ONE second, how all the champions got good WITHOUT ANY of this shit? A top player will always be able to take a pos house cue and run racks with it. Its always the sub-sub-sub shortstops who are are addicted to this stuff.I prefer gear whore, thank you.
I'm bad at math but it sounds like you pay $4.40 each and $20 for install so if a Recoil tip lasts twice as long you're about even and if it lasts 3 times longer, you're way ahead. But stick with what works for you. I played with pressed elkmasters for 30 years before I found anything I liked better and that was only because elkmaster, lepro and triangles all went to shit about 15 years ago and I had no choice.Actually you're wrong there. Golf has always embraced new tech because it was always a upgrade in performance. I'm not totally anti-tech in any way but so much of what pops up in the pool world is just gadgets for gadgets sake. If i hit one of these who knows i may try one but i doubt it. With install you're looking at almost 50bux. I can get 10 of the Ultraskins for 44bux plus install so around $20/ea. I don't play enough pool to warrant a 50 dollar cue tip.
