Yo, pool jerseys look bad bruh. Old school bowling shirts would be better. Pretty much anything would be better. Not picking on Filler, his is just a common example cuz he wins so much. Just sayin'...

I don’t have a problem with them in pro tournaments . You have sponsors that need recognized . I think it’s better than when they were just slapping random patches on a shirt lol. I think it’s funny seeing my local apa 4 wear one. I was pretty disapointed at last acs nationals last year. I wanted to grab a tshirt and all they had was jersey’s . No thanks.

I’m on the 50 yard line on this topic.

At first I liked the American themed ones(I still do-the Mcup looking ones specifically) but then they morphed into the current looking ones which I don’t care for.

However the cloths in pool in general got so bad the homeless look wasn’t doing anyone any favors.

So do we have to fade the bad bowling (fishing) shirt look or the homeless look?

I suppose the bowling shirt look is slightly better. Maybe….

Best
Fatboy<——you’ll never see me in one of those shirts. Even if the Pool Gods promised me I’d play 800 Fargo I’d still pass…..

I'm with Fatboy on this, no strong feelings either way.
I'm noticing that a great many of the people that play in the MVP and TriCups in our APA league have these now. Not really a sponsor thing, just a fancy pool shirt with their name on it. There are some teams that have them, which is kind of a themed team uniform thing I guess, but lots and lots more, especially at the MVP tournaments, are wearing them too. There are a couple companies that market them, pretty successfully, and almost all have their name on them. We had a guy in our league that would wear his every week, with his nickname on it.
For me right now, more of my opinion on these shirts is based upon the personalities of those I know that wear them.

I think the jerseys today are way better than a polo shirt with sponsors patched pinned/ironed on and peeling off mid-match. The jerseys also have the player's name on the back, which is good for their brand identity.

They are ugly in a lot of cases, so bright and loud, but I get it for the pros. Branding, easy identification with names on the back, provides a “sporty” professional look.

I don’t plan to ever wear one myself but if I were a pro and had sponsors to rep it’d make a ton more sense.

I will say Fedor has some of the nicer, simpler, and cleaner looking ones. I like his more subdued style.

Looks like they're using up old StarTrek costumes. Some of league'rs where i play have them and i gotta say they looky goofy as fk imo. They all got their $2000bux worth of cues too and can't play a lick. Whatever butters ur biscuit.
