Pool Leagues in Northern VA

Hi,

I'm currently in the job market and thinking about relocating to the Northern part of VA near Washington. The job I'm after is in Tyson Corner.

I'm not familiar with the surrounding cities at all and was hoping you all could help. One major thing I want to do is continue to play in pool leagues.

So any of you play league in any of the areas around here? Suggestions for a city with pool, things to do, and good places to eat near some decent apartments?

I know this is half on topic half off and I apologize for that. Just trying to do my homework before I randomly take a place to live.

Thanks

Not sure about that area, but Hampton Roads has more pool than you can shake you're stick at.

Reston, sterling, and falls church are all near tysons and all have good rooms to play at with plenty of apa tap and bca leagues

The Northern Virginia area has plenty of pool rooms and lots of leagues. The Greater DC ,VA and Maryland APA is the 3rd largest in the world and the Maryland, WV is the largest. Lots of great tournaments about every weekend within and hour or so drive. As far as apartments or places for rent. As long as you don't mind a commute , approx. 30-40 miles , you should look into a place west or south of Tyson Corner. The Tyson, Falls Church, Arlington, Alexandria area is about the most expensive area around. I would look in the Leesburg, Gainesville, Manassas area because they are farther from the city or for less than half the cost go just across the state line into WV.

Springfield, Hard times just started a new BCA league has APA also , Revolution a block away has APA leagues several nights too
