Pool on TV. Pool and billiards promotion - LOUIE ROBERTS

Does anyone have any interest in seeing pool played on Television? What about a feature film about pool? Well, the hype is that I believe I have written what is the modern day Color of Money. I have been working on a piece about Louie Roberts the deceased pro pool player for a couple years now. I am trying to publish a 114 page script into a film. I hope to become the Walter Tevis of this generation. I truly believe this could rival Color of Money someday.

Louie was a dear friend to a lot of the pool players in Saint Louis, MO that I associate with today and are friends with today and I feel this would be a real promotion for the pool world as well. There are 10 specific direct as well as indirect references to Louie's life in the script. In example, things that he said, trick shots he created, hustles, and things he did while he was on the road are included in this plot and story. I feel like this could be a direction the pool world could take to help improve the image and put pool/billiards on Television again where it should be. Our sport deserves it.

My PDF file was too big for this website so I will have to share my personal website where you can access my complete script. See below.

Please contact me if you feel like sharing a Louie road story or feel like discussing possible publication avenues or sponsorship for this kind of thing.

There is no link to a script on your site.

Try a different browser. Internet explorer is not working on it. It should say the date right below the text that says, the Manuscript.

Exellent. Wow!

You should get together with Angel Levine from Chicago way. She has been working on a documentary movie for many years, collecting data and photos, and she has a great deal of experience in this regard.

Best of luck to you. I would love to see this become a reality!
