Pool on TV shows

I just watched a design star show, one of the biggest conflicts was to put a pool table in a room. The pool table won,and the judges loved it.
The pool table was the star.

Daniel the superstar poker player in his latest commercial is not only playing pool he is seen jumping and talking about poker.

Ocean's 11,12, and 134 all have someone playing pool or a pool table in the back ground.

Some type of phone commercial has someone playing pool.

This is just in the past 3 hours, it seems to me that they are showing pool in a more positive day to day life style.

Just a happy thought.

Pool has popped up on alot of long running sitcom/tv series. I still can't believe there has never been a sitcom based in a pool hall. Off the top of my head each of these shows had a pool episode.

Family Matters
Married With Children
Quantum Leap
Fresh Prince of Belair
Boy Meets World
Twilight Zone

Drew Carey had a pool table outside in the weather for a few seasons I seem to recall.

Also, when I was in the hospital for my newest nephew's birth, there was some drama series on with a girl and guy playing pool. I couldn't tell you the name of the show for any amount of money unfortunately.

Not a tv show, but the movie "The Butterfly Effect" had a pool scene in it. Though it wasn't exactly in a positive light.
And I think I remember a pool scene in "Little Man Tate" though that was over 10 years ago when it came out.

Roseanne... they'd go to the Cheatin' Heart a lot and either they'd be playing or somebody else would be.

Oh and Friends, when they reminisce about their first meeting and Phoebe makes out with one of the guys on teh pool table, I don't remember who it was for sure, but I think it was Ross. He says something about his balls getting stuck.
