Pool on TV

you're taking an inconspicuous poll, aren't you?

cause the last & only time that i saw pool on real TV, was when i bought The Color of Money. oh, and the loop for Hard Rock's Penthouse w/ a pool table.
 
there used to be a lot of ladies matches on espn 2, but now since everybody has realized they can get rich off of PPV EVENTS, all the pool promoters are charging to watch pro events. IF YOU'RE NOT OBAMA, YOU'RE A PROMOTER !!

When you turn on the TV and it's on. The tough part is to find out when they are on :wink:

All pool on U.S. TV is either trick shots, an edited Challenge of Champions or edited old matches, and most of those are the women's tour. Don't remember last time the men had an televised event.

Best way to watch pool is the internet streams, links to which you can find on here.

Is it just me or have trick shot exhibitions gone down the tube. What I mean is the shots using 5 jump cues at the same time and the ilk. When does something like that ever come up in real billiards. When I watch mastery of the masse etc that is fine but these invented trick shots are just nonsense ... IMHO. :smile:

I actually thought that the stuff Florian was doing is great. I'd rather see fun shots that are NOT what you'd ever use in a game when it comes to trick shot stuff. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiZF6o-AU64

This is an insightful post. Who is it getting rich in this scheme? Is it the promoters or the streamers ?
 
There is a ton of stuff on Youtube, from past World Championships to the recent Mosconi Cups. When you find one, it will lead you to more, a LOT more!
