Perfect.
It's driving em back to the table.
The regulars ain't dying, so it's a safer place too be me/you.
I've noticed pool tables in the back drop of video shoots allot more these days.

I've played only a handful of frames of pool since lockdowns ended here in Ireland. I would love to get back to a snooker table soon for a knockabout, too, but I haven't had a chance yet.

Had a custom cue made for me during the starting months of the pandemic, and I really do wish I could use it more. It feels fantastic.

We're back to normal at the Vet's club I belong to, as far as league play goes. Individual play on the tables is still down some. The BCA bar table league is at less than 1/2 capacity. Another local league I'm in is close to being back to normal. The only poolroom close to me is unkempt/dirty; I won't go there☠️

That way, if you get a good BCA team together NOW this YR, maybe you could sneak in and win it! One more time.
That's how us pool players think!

I fear that COVID has cause too many pool rooms to close permanently.
Additionally, new pool room openings have become a genuine rarity too.

Here in the USA, the national outlook for pool is bleak. But it’s been on a
decline since the millennium. There are regions where it’s still very popular
but that’s become more of the exception rather than the rule in the USA.

And it now also became quite a bit more pricey by the hour to play pool.
It doesn’t help either but it’s due to COVID economics from being closed.

Our local pool hall just closed. There is 1 table left in one local bar I think 2 in another and 4 at the local legion . All 8 foot, 1 a Dufferin and the rest are Valleys . The pool hall that closed had 12 Palason billiards 9 footers. I tried buying one but they all sold to another hall over an hour away. Im currently not allowed in to play at the Legion due to vaccine status.

And in turn, there are ALLOT of empty/large spaces that are not getting RENT$$$$$$.

This a great opportunity to get a large space, pay waaaaaaaaaaaay less rent $$$ and create distance between each player group/table.
I talked with a man that I got into the motorhome repair biz yrs ago, and this did play our good for him.
Rented a large warehouse with 30' ceilings/bathroom and office area, for reroofing in the winter, $500 a mth.

Here in New England we have been playing since about July 2020. Leagues and tournaments. Had to wear masks last winter, but none this year so far.
