pool/poker book, dvd exchange?

I had a thought and wanted to explore the viablity of an idea.

I know that there are many people on this site that are trying to make a living selling there books and cues and dvd's etc, etc and this is nothing to do with trying to take money out of anyones pockets.

I love pool and there are probably a truck load of books and DVD's that I would have a very strong interest in reading and I'm thinking that there maybe a ton of you out there that own a book or DVD that you have already read that basically sits on a shelf drawing dust until you decide to browse through it again... with the economy the way it is and with other much more pressing issues some of us just can't afford to go out a buy all these books and DVD's but we would still love to read them...

I put the word poker in the title of this thread only because I happen to have a bunch of poker books (super system, etc,etc) that I would be willing to loan to someone if they had an interest, in exchange for that person loaning me a pool DVD or book(s)... the idea would just be to loan one another the books/DVD's for a set period of time... that way we both get the enjoyment of reading one anothers books/DVD's and dont have to spend all the money... like a loan amongst friends... I would also be willing to go out and buy a pool book/DVD if someone else bought a different one and we could share the materials...

would this type of trade/exchange/loan be of any interest to anyone?

Its a great idea that I have offered to do before and it would be cool if we could all get together and list what we have and make exchanges for books or dvds.I had an AZ poster send me a bunch of books which I thought was very nice because they were hard to find,he asked me to send them on to someone else which I did.I think we could really do something cool here and exchange stuff.I do have someones Joe Tucker Racking Secrets and am having trouble remembering who lent it to me,oh it was BigSkyJake I am sure! :smile:
 
everyone here but me much be rich, nobody else has any interest in this? If ya'll are just rich and can just buy everything your heart desires without need for creative ways to satify your wants... could I bum some books from you?
