I thought everyone might want to check out Blair's PPP intro video. I know what you're thinking: Blair needs a lot of work with those nunchucks!

I've been following PPP's progress for sometime now because I think it can be the hottest show on tv. Like it or not, it's probably pool's ONLY real chance in making it to mainstream tv.

If Jersey Shore can get popular with someone as boring as Snooki, Blair has locks with mixing MMA, pool, poker, a hustle bus and a Vegas mansion. Pool players are the most interesting personalities in the world and I hope Blair gives everyone a shot of excitement.

I hear Doug Stanley (Deadliest Catch and Michael Jackson Tribute Concert producer) is hard at work. We're pulling for ya, Blair!!!!

Next time I will click the link first... This I like.... looks like the MMA was removed.... I'll jump on the bus and support this venture any way I can.....

I think you're looking at this through the eyes of a purist...and thats not the market. I think it's about entertainment.

Purists are nearly extinct... just like how bangers are who pay the bills in most pool rooms. When you watch poker on tv...they're not always elite players...same with mma and pool. Shit, a certain woman pool player comes to mind who's all over the pool media and she cant play at all. It's all about ENTERTAINMENT.

I do appreciate your support and opinion on thinking www.poolpokerandpain.com is going to be a side show and I have to tell you that is not the case or way that this show will be produced. These contestants will be trained by the best coaches on the planet in Pool,Poker and MMA so I believe the viewers will be in shock how skilled all these contestants will be and if not then early knock outs or tapouts either way its good television. Pool is starving for a reality show and the networks just dont want pool our sport has a terrible imagine and maybe PPP will or will not help ? The one thing I do know is that Pool is being left behind in the dark there have been reality shows on cooking,crabing,rehab and every other sport and disfunctional topic so believe me Pool,poker and pain is not going to hurt pool. This show is not for the weak hearted there is going to be high stakes gambling and exposing whats really going on in the back rooms of these pool rooms traveling across the country in a badass HUSTLE BUS that will be featured in other pool reality shows. I know there are haters/dougters out there but anyone that knows me and some of the details of this show believe that PPP is ready to shock the sports,gaming and entertainment worlds PPP will be creating a new breed of multi talented athlete I hope LOL. I respect everyones opinion and hope to have you as fans of PPP bcs alot of these contestants are players that we all know and love or hate ? thanks for listening and sorry im a terrible writer so that is why im fighting lol I should have stayed in school and out of the poolroom. Blair I definitely commend you for pursuing this... I love the idea of the back room gambling and the hustle bus... The original concept I did think of as a sideshow with MMA being at the forefront... Sideshows exist because people pay to see them so that's not all bad... I just don't see the connection between the 3 disciplines... I know with your background it is a no brainer... with my background it is also a no brainer... different definitions LOL... While I could see a few of the pros stepping into the ring, Most of the guys I admire in the pool world are not cut from that cloth...

Spidey is right in that I am a purist...

I hope you are very successful with the new show but I also don't want to fight my way out of a pool hall because of changes in what's deemed kosher....

I also think I am biased because they show the PPV MMA events at the Sports bar I used to play at and it never failed that on those nights we always had problems with fights... It amazes me what a televised event can do to normal people... But I guess I could have been in a German bar during the world cup or lots of other places during other major sporting events and I would have seen similar problems....

I think as long as proper control is maintained over the different disciplines that maybe the lines won't get blurred and I am jumping at shadows... So please... No making Willie turn over in his grave? =)

Given a choice between watching Spidey or Shanelle play pool, I'm sure most players would rather watch Shanelle...because we're nearly extinct primal entertainment purists. ;) Watching pool players play is no different than watching any other sport, be it basketball, football or whatever. We all want to be entertained.
