Pool products that live up to the hype

Just got a Magic Rack, played with it last night. Wow, night and day difference in the breaks. A friend of mine I ran into at the pool hall played with me and he was actually calling over his league friends to come look at the racks this thing produces.

I don't think there is another product that lives up to the reputation as full as this rack. Yea Kamui Chalk, I'm looking at you. I was also told a few times that the Kamui tips are not as good as all the talk about them. Low-deflection shafts, some like em, some don't. But even if they do have improvement in performace I don't think it's nearly as much as what the Magic Rack has.

I really feel that the Magic Rack is the only "new and imporved" item that fully meets what it promises. For the cost of a couple of fancy coffees it outperforms any rack I have used.

And no, I'm not a paid rep for them :p If they ever saw how badly I played last night I'm sure they would pay me NOT to ever represent them :D

The product that I have used that lives up to the hype is the BreakRak. That thing is worth every penny.

I agree with you as well that the magic rack works very well.

Magic rack best product in many years. Super for stream matches an tournaments really speeds up the matches. And it sure makes an even playing field. Skip

I heard that is how Shane works on his break. Strong backup there.

The base model Delta-13 rack offers good bang for your buck as well at under $40. I have the magic rack and think that it is great, but I would not want to use it for onepocket or for straight pool. The delta 13 offers the best alternative for those games in my opinion. And I feel that this rack will last a lifetime as well.

Ditto, plus I enjoy the metallic sound of the balls hitting the Delta while I rack.

I will add that any of Joe Porpers tools for installing tips by hand or maintenance, work exactly as intended.

I guess I'm a bit of a purist, but nothing beats the sound of balls being racked in one of those heavy old Diamond wood triangles!

Hmmm

The Pro-Justa bridge... Seriously, how can you leave an important shot to those freaking house bridges....best $30 investment ever.

It does what it claims

Go ahead, spend $40.00 for a rack, $1000.00 for a cue, rack-em tight, hit-em hard, make two balls and get hooked. Now you have a decision, push or kick. Spend $5.99, download a Bank Shot Calculator iPhone app and kick it in. It’s the best training tool for me in 40 years of playing, even if I am prejudice.
