Have any of you read this book. I attended a clinic run by Mark Finkelstein a couple of years ago. He did a nice job. I then started to read Mark's articles in Inside Pool Magazine. I really liked what he was saying.. I decided to buy the book. Its is a compilation of short articles written by Mark. This is a great book to take to the table and practice. Lots of good drills. A bit wordy at times, but lots of good information. Some good theory along with shots to work on to practice his ideas.
By the way I heard Mark is teaming up with Scott Lee next weekend in Ct for a pool school. Sound like a good program. Two master level instructors.
 
I know the people attending will have a great experience. I had a long discussion with someone yesterday at the pool hall. He insisted that having your arm forward of perpendicular to the floor was the correct way to hold the cue..Short back swing and very short follow through. He said because I didn't agree with him I was unteachable.

He might have had it backwards.

So sad. Too each their own.

Kaz - the amount of time you put in on the table practicing GOOD habits is unsurpassed by any amateur I have seen walk though Sandcastle's doors. Whomever suggested that you are unteachable must not know how to teach. ;)
