Has anyone purchased any of the plans for any of the items listed here.

They have some very interesting plans for many different pool room items and suggest that they will provide customer support if you get in a jam during the construction process.

Some of the items look simple enough for a klutz like me to build.

Just curious if any of the AZBers have taken them up on their offer and actually used any of their plans and what the results were.....

My guess is that the best predictors of success in building a pool table are:

1. Demonstrated ability to build weight bearing furniture.

2. Ownership of tools (and experience in using them) including table saw, miter saw, router, drill press, sanders, maybe a planer.

3. If you can't design and cut rails and subrails, don't take on this project.

4. Ability to locate an appropriate piece of slate (or marble or steel) and then design a table around it.

Good luck.

I would love to see Norm Abram make some of this stuff!
