pool rooms in Mankato, MN

I'm going to the Junior Nationals next month and was wondering if there were any pool rooms in Mankato, MN or around there?

My memory of the place is very vague and also from a few years back, when our son was competing there. There was a pool room or two within walking distance, in a nearby mall. One was a restaurant with only a few tables. The other one had a lot more tables and was pretty nice. We went with the boys there. I believe it was open to all ages. (It seems like that mall was right across the street from the convention center.)

At any rate, when you get there, it's a beautiful place and the people are nice. Ask around when you get there and you'll quickly learn where to find a pool room.

You said you're going, but didn't specify if you'll be competing. Does that mean you're going with someone else who will be competing?
 
I am competing but getting there a day early. So I figured I would try to find a little action or practice for awhile :-) ha

We had a blast when we went. The local league directors told us we'd be bored and should enjoy the mall or something. Wow, were they wrong! We loved watching so many young'uns playing at such highly competitive levels! It was so encouraging to see they were learning strategic moves and reasoning at such young ages! And, there were great entertainment and educational booths there, so we barely had time to do anything else or go anywhere else.

Go and have fun, but do your very best, because it is something you will want to look back on and truly be proud of.
