I could use some help. Does anyone know of any pool rooms in Tenn. that would be near Del Rio or Newport? I am visiting my in-laws in July and would love to catch a weekly Tournament. Preferably nine ball, but any would do. I don't know the area at all and any help would be great. (I and from Mass.) A room with some action would be fine also. I'm a decent B.

Thanks very much
Jason

If your going to a pool hall in cocke co.,take all your breakable sticks, and a six shooter in your boot......that part of tennessee don'nt mind losing money to you, because you can'nt leave with it anyway....why....your tires will be cut.Thats only if your lucky and they don'nt steal your car?

its a little out of the way but kingsport has breaking tradition, bristol-borderline billiards (janet atwells)and corner pocket, johnson city-newmans ###sunday kingsport 9-ball tourney at 7:30, you might find action there or bristol, j.c. is a joke..............

Thanks for the info. I was looking forward to playing some different people for a change. I don't get a chance to travel much outside of Ma and NH. It would have been nice. Maybe I'll check out Kingsport.

Thanks for the replies

Zippy, PM KtownD and he can give you the info you need. KINGSPORT IS almost 100 miles away.

Not much playing in that area but............

I am in Knoxville and I would be interested in playing a little. Newport is about 50 miles from anywhere but you can be in Knoxville in less than an hour and there is a tournament on Mondays at Bailey's or maybe some action at Breakers on Thursday. I am open to play a little just PM me if you want to get out that direction.

One nice room!

You might have to do alittle driving, but the scenery will be beautiful and the room is well worth the drive.
