I will be teaching one of our 3-day intensive pool schools Friday through Sunday, December 6, 7 & 8, at Crown Billiards in San Ramon CA. The school is targeted to intermediate and advanced players, and limited to the first 8 paid students. Class runs from 8am-5pm each day. I will be assisted by other PBIA instructors to form a perfect student/teacher ratio, so that everyone gets plenty of one-on-one. There will be video analysis each day to observe progress. Workshops will cover all three areas of study...physical, mental, and psychological. PM me for more information, or to sign up.

Ahhh Sacramento! The ONLY place I know of that teaches pool in high school! Bart Mahoney has been doing this for years. I don't know if this is related but he brings the kids to Hard Times to teach them. If they had this class when I went to school...I wouldn't of had to ditch to go to the pool hall! (-:

I never understand why you do not mention the price of your classes you offering in your posts.

I have read this comment several times recently.
There's no mystery. Prices are posted on his web site.
I'll save you the effort of a couple mouse clicks.
I've signed up already, so I have first hand knowledge of the price.
Three full days of Pool School at Crown Billiards in San Ramon, Ca. $600.

To say I'm looking forward to this is an understatement.

The Hippie...Actually there are at least two other HS programs...one of them is in Dallas, and has been active for many years. Earl Munson runs that one. Bart does a great job with the Sactown program too! On topic, this pool school is in the Bay Area (San Ramon), rather than Sacramento.

Bruce...and I don't understand why you bother to say anything, since you'd NEVER pay to go to pool school, even if it was cheap in your eyes ($5). Perhaps I want people to contact me for more information. Like I'M DK said, it's hardly a secret. Some instructors are getting as much as $1300 for a 3-day school. That makes mine and Randyg's a veritable bargain...not to mention the history and positive feedback from students who have taken our course over the years.

Wayne...Looking forward to seeing you in just a few weeks!

If only it wasn't so close to the Holidays and my girlfriends anniversary! Oh, and that thing called work....

Scott's class is worth twice the price, yet it is half the price some other instructors are charging.

Scott you have zero idea how I spend my money, BTW if you were offering a Clinic in PHX for $5.00 I might attend if I was not busy that day.

Had your web-site spelled out the cost of your THREE DAY CLINIC in Black & White I would not have asked my question.

BTW I wonder how Willie Mosconi was as good as he was playing Pool with out no formal schooling.

galipeau...Bring your girlfriend with you! I'll make you a deal on the both of you! It can be a combination anniversary/Christmas gift! I'll guarantee you it will be the best investment in your pool game you'll ever make!

I believe he got some, as a child, from a fellow named Greenleaf. You might have heard of him!

You know what I read my copy of Willies book, Willie's Game about once a year. It is a great book, and tells why Willie was great, and IMHO Pool greatest ambassador of the game of Pool.

I have a friend who is 88 now he lives in Arleta, CA. His dad is mentioned in the book, a ticket agent who Mosconi lived with for a while in LA. Uncle Lou. Lou's son my friend is a cousin of Mosconi.

Scott's rates are more than fair. And worth every penny. Has anyone paid for lessons that were a waste of money....you will not get that with S.L. You'll enjoy the session. You'll go back for more someday.

I have worked with Scott on several occasions. Enjoyed every minute. Great teacher. Always eager to teach.
