Pool School in Phoenix followup

Randyg and I finished our 2-day pool school in Phoenix yesterday just before 6pm, when the league players innundate Sixshooters Billiards. We'd like to thank the staff of Sixshooters, for being so nice to us, and for letting us bring our students in early both days. The four students in the school were very attentive throughout Monday and Tuesday, and now have a good month of hard work in front of them, to begin to assimilate all the information we gave them. As always, it was a good school, and I look forward to coming back to Phoenix again!

My scotch doubles partner and I consider ourselves to be pretty good up and coming players. Since we're pool partners we spend a good deal of time practicing with each other (more than just simply hitting balls around, playing game after game). We try to break our game down and deal with the minute details in order to improve our game. So we're confident about our fundamentals, knowledge, direction and gameplay. In the back of our minds, we had a concern of whether we'd really learn any valuable new information from this instruction.

We were definitely pleasantly surprised at how much valuable information was provided from this pool school session. This started with the very first drills and analysis that we began the day performing. And it continued constantly until the end of all the sessions. As a matter of fact, it was too bad that the leagues kicked us out and we had to go, because we all would've gladly stayed longer for any more that Scott and Randy would've provided.

They gave us much more information than we can properly digest in such a short time. So, we eagerly look forward to the work in progress that we will definitely have over the next weeks/months in order to properly put what we learned into practice and then incorporate it into our game. And they gave us good grouding with what they presented, so we feel confident that we can apply what we learned.

It is a lot of information to try and digest, and that's why we give you an outline of how to attack it, and a timeline on how to practice it...along with the workbook, to help you remember everything! Good luck in both of your bringing your game to a higher level! SPF rules!
