I wanted some private lessons from instructor to improve my game. I'm a skill level 7 in 8-ball in A.P.A and skill level 9 in 9-ball A.P.A . I started looking around the internet on web sites at instructors. In the past I had taken lessons from a top certifed instructor in the U.S. I learned a great deal from him then. I ran across the Legends & Champions Pool Tour ad showing that Johnny Archer and Earl Strickland travling across the country giving lessons to small groups of 12. I thought a min. It would cool to take lessons and ask questions from these guys besides they are both former world champions. I looked at the price of the class $200.00 per student. I said thats not a bad price for lessons with these champions. I looked at the contact info and contacted Mark Cantrill to see if it would be possible to get private one on one lessons with either Johnny or Earl. I emailed Mark Cantrill with my request. Mark emailed my back in a day or so and said that he could honor my request. I emailed Mark back with my personal contact info. and requested lessons with Johnny becuase i live a couple hours away from Johnny's poolroom the Marietta Billards Club in Marietta Georgia. Mark called me the next day and i made arrangements for the lessons with Johnny at his poolroom The Marietta Billards Club on thursday august 21 at 11:30am. This past thursday august 21 I met with Johnny for my private lessons. I would like to say I was very impressed with Johnny's teaching skills. I have been playing for a while now and I'm an advanced player. We started off the lesson with fundamentals. Johnny set up some shots for me so he could check my fundamentals and move to kicking, postion play, etc etc. Being a advanced player I thought my fundametals where pretty good but they where not. Johnny showed what my flaws were and how to correct in all parts of game we worked on. Johnny is very nice southern gentlemen and very fun to be around. We also had lunch together at his poolroom and I have got to say the food was execellent!! and as far as the playing a equipment top notch!!!!. The only regret i have with the class with Johnny is that it had to end. I HIGHILY RECOMMEND IF ANY OF YOU GET A CHANCE TO TAKE LESSONS FROM JOHNNY OR EARL  . IN MY OPINON THE ARE BETTER THAN OR EQUAL TO ANY CERIFIED INSTRUCTOR OUT THERE!!!!!!!! AND TELL THEM SWANEE SENT YOU TO THEM. In closing I would like to say thank you Johnny for taking time from your busy schedule and time away from your family. Thank you Mark Canrtrill for making it possible.

Charles, I am really happy to hear that you had a good time and learned from your experience. I am sure that you had some great conversations about your uncle. Swanee was your uncle right? Either way I am glad that it all worked out well for you and your wife. Send me a picture or something,
Mark,
