I don't know about the rest of you but I welcome fall and winter as pool playing season. The cooler air and the early night fall seems to get the pool player congregation back in tune. I know myself I get back to playing. I loose my tan. I start eating bad(which I'm trying to control this year). Long nights of play or just hanging in the poolroom nake me later and later for work. I have to say I love it.
Doesn't that sure enough seem to be the way it is. Its much easier to find time for pool in the cooler months. I know a swimming pool, unless indoors, looks like a good place for peguins but not me come December.
I know some players keep instroke year round. I'm damned with a love for the game that is acompanied by friends that could care less for it. From time to time they pull me from the pool room and always during the summer for fun and a change of scenery. Which has its goods and bads I guess.
In any case here we are again. The downhill slide toward the Derby and cold induced action weather that every player welcomes. I know for some it stays in a cooler to cold enviorment year round. Here in the south however, we have swings of perfect weather for pool(and football " Roll Tide").
